I am beyond excited to share that my latest collection will be on view this Thursday, February 27th at Guardino Gallery. This marks the first time in two years that I’ve exhibited a large body of work, and it feels especially meaningful. Over the past 5 months, I’ve poured myself into creating pieces that feel deeply personal and reflective of my own journey. I am so proud of what has emerged.
This collection is particularly special to me because it includes a significant addition: sculptural works. For years, my focus has been on mosaic bead painting, creating detailed, vibrant surfaces rich with color and texture. But this time, I felt called to push my work into new dimensions. Incorporating sculptural elements has allowed me to explore form, depth, and shadow in entirely new ways. These new pieces feel bold and vulnerable, and I believe they add a fresh layer of storytelling and connection to my work.
At the heart of this collection are recurring motifs that have always inspired me: hearts, eyes, butterflies, flowers, and celestial forms. These symbols weave together narratives of resilience, hope, and transformation. The heart, especially, serves as both a literal and metaphorical centerpiece: a vessel of memory, longing, and healing.
In a time when the world feels heavy and uncertain, I hope this collection offers something uplifting. I believe that beauty matters. It reminds us of what endures, of the light that continues to break through. These works are my offering of inspiration and reflection on the power of becoming whole, of finding strength in vulnerability, and of the quiet triumphs that shape us.
I am filled with gratitude for those who have supported my work along the way, whether you have followed my journey for years or are just discovering it now. Your encouragement means everything.
For those who can make it to Portland, the collection is on view at Guardino Gallery. For everyone else, you can explore the show online through the gallery website. Wherever you are, I hope these pieces speak to you. I am honored to share them with you.
